@r000t@ligma.pro there was a piece of torrenting software I used to use from China, called Thunder (or Xunlei) which was really good and did some lookups on the common places for mirrors to do http downloads and stuff (basic firewall busting.)

it was all nice until an employee got bribed to put a worm into the code, nobody caught it for like a month.

@r000t@ligma.pro I think from time to time how much software is compromised just because an employee is either not paid enough to care or has a low price. Social engineering hacks are more than just intrusion, if someone wanted they could easily just plug in a few lines of code that opens a backdoor (i.e. the xz thing)
