I've learned recently that iOS does not separate notifications into channels. You either get them or you don't.
You can't turn off ads for apps and keep the notifications you care about.
The shittiest Huawei phone has this critical feature. And that's just one.

No, the battery thing.
If you can yoink the battery at a whim, you're likely to do so. Probably without powering the phone down. This has an amazingly high chance of leaving the filesystem, or any number of apps' state* inconsistent and corrupted.
So you can either block execution until writes have for sure hit storage, or seal the battery and be able to use the page cache.
