OP asked what steps can be taken to avoid false positives with League's upcoming kernel-mode anticheat.

On a scale of 1 to Terry Davis, please rate the schizoness of my response.

@r000t i have no idea what i've just read but i do have friends that play league.

They are not THAT tech savvy, so in normies terms what should i tell them?

@ryuuji
Use a separate computer for League. Install Chrome, League, and literally nothing else. I'm not even sure Adrenaline/GeForce Experience or even Discord is safe.

Install Chrome (not chromium) *but do not use it*. The only reason it's being installed is because an anticheat staffer said they find Edge being the default browser to be suspicious.

Do not spend any more money on Riot's games, because each game is very likely to be your last, and you will be told it's your fault.

Most importantly, sit out the next patch or two. Basically, sit out the entire month of May. Let other people eat the dog food.

Reinstall Windows on 1 May and let it sit, because the same staffer also said that they find Windows having recently been reinstalled to be suspicious.

@r000t @ryuuji Installing Windows yourself might be suspicious then. Get a gaymer laptop with an OEM copy of 11 Home, that should show to them you aren't tech-savy (and thus potential cheater).
