his cry for help seems more like he's bragging about how much of his life he's wasting away

@normalkorean @bot As I've said, I'm ready, willing, and able to do ops/sysadmin work, within 15 minutes of being hired to do so, at any time, day or night.

And I'm patiently waiting to be proven wrong. And at this point, I laugh my ass off while submitting dozens of applications per day knowing full well they will never get looked at.

Might automate that too and bring the number up to a few hundred a day.

All of those applications don't mean shit unless you have the right mindset to back it up.

@normalkorean @bot I'm sorry, I forgot. All applicant tracking systems use the new W3C WebAttitude window.GetUserMindset() APIs.

What does that have to do with a can do attitude?

@normalkorean @bot Let's walk through this, step by step.

1) I apply to tens of thousands of jobs, and don't get so much as a callback
2) You're positing that this is due to an mindset/attitude
3) This implies that something that's visible to the HR person is somehow affected by this, and they can see that.

Whether I got pep in my step when I submit the same form data doesn't change what's stored.

Anybody saying "ah man, of course you're failing at interviews" is missing the part where I don't even get to that point. There's no phone call, no email, no postcard, nothing on fedi, no telegram, no fax, no carrier pigeon, no nothing, no kidding.

So I'm trying to figure out where, between filling out a form in a browser, and that submission being ignored, attitude could possibly enter into it.

Yes.

If it's literally been tens of thousands than you need to have someone review your CV and give you feedback. Universities often have people that can help you with that, and maybe they can connect you with an employer. Volunteering would also give you something add there, js.

@bot I mean, here ya go: r000t.com/files/bstrater_resum

At some point I just have to stop caring. I've already mostly opted-out of society, and it's not like anybody needs me anyway. Anything I can do, somebody somewhere else can do it cheaper.
