Help me prove a point to a colleague:

If your corporate computer (or school computer, or pretend you work for a place that issues computers) normally asks you to press ctrl+alt+del before logging on:

1) Would you ever notice if you *weren't* asked to do that, just once?

2) If you did notice, what would you do?

Do you know why the login screen asks you to do that?

On Windows, only the kernel can hook ctrl+alt+del. If a fake login screen asked you to press it, it couldn't tell that you've ever done so.

Yup! If the login screen looks sus, don't enter your creds, contact the help desk.

1) I did noticed
2) Stopped pressing ctrl+alt+del
